Joshua Whitehead is an Oji-Cree, Two-Spirit member of Peguis First Nation (Treaty 1). He is the author of full-metal indigiqueer (Talonbooks 2017), Jonny Appleseed (Arsenal Pulp 2018), and is the editor of the newly released Love after the End: an Anthology of Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer Speculative Fiction (Arsenal Pulp 2020). Currently he is working on a manuscript of creative non-fiction that details Indigeneity, queerness, and mental health slated to release in 2021 with Knopf Canada entitled Making Love with the Land.
