NIA DEVETZIS

Nia Devetzis complete a Master’s of Music in 2018 in percussion performance. She is a member of Timepoint Ensemble, a group of musicians dedicated to performing works by living composers and to push the boundaries of musical performance. Favourite collaborations outside of her musical discipline include theatrical productions with Lizz Windnagel on Just like the Moon at the University of Calgary and most recently with Mudfoot Theatre on Yabber; a Folk Opera.
Nia Devetzis is an active performer and educator, working with various groups and schools around the city including the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Artio Choir, Central Memorial High School, and as an instructor at the Mt. Royal Conservatory.

LAURA DONALDSON

Laura Donaldson is a tap dancer based in Calgary, Canada. Laura is an alumnus of the 2021 Tap Performance Ensemble at The School at Jacob’s Pillow and has performed in Lisa La Touche’s “Fool’s Gold, Danny Nielsen’s work, “On Foot”. She has presented her own work in various festivals and completed a new solo work with support by The GRAND Theatre as a part of their Creative Residency Program. Laura is a multi-form trained dancer and is an alumnus of the Tri -Tone Rhythm Ensemble. Laura develops her artistic voice through practice, teaching, and performing in Canada and the United States.
