MICHAEL DANIEL BROADFOOT

Michael Daniel Broadfoot AKA MC Good Medicine is a Métis, Cree, and adopted Blackfoot person. She/He was given the sacred name of Apiskonakii translating to "Far Shooter" by Miksika’am of the Siksika nation; the teaching that came with that name was that Michael would "always aim far, and always hit her/his targets." She/he has more recently begun coming out with her/his Two Spirit identity and has been living in Treaty 7 for about 10 years. Michael is a Hip Hop Emcee, Co-Host of the Sweety Treaty Show, and is currently serving the Treaty 7 community through the Aboriginal Standing Committee on Housing and Homelessness (ASCHH).
